۞ Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 In a book that is protected 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
