▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
