۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 right before your very eyes? 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
