▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 A Revelation (this Quran) from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 and that hour you are watching 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
