Mutual Blaming (Al-Taghaabun)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
All that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth extols Allah's glory. His is the sovereignty and to Him is all praise due; He has power over everything. 1 He it is Who created you, but one of you is an unbeliever and another of you is a believer; and Allah sees what you do. 2 He created the heavens and the earth with truth, and He shaped you and made good your shapes, and unto Him is the journeying. 3 He knows what is in the heavens and on earth; and He knows what ye conceal and what ye reveal: yea, Allah knows well the (secrets) of (all) hearts. 4 Hath not the story reached you of those who disbelieved of old and so did taste the ill-effects of their conduct, and theirs will be a painful doom. 5 That was because there came to them their Messengers with clear proofs (signs), but they said: "Shall mere men guide us?" So they disbelieved and turned away (from the truth), and Allah was not in need (of them). And Allah is Rich (Free of all wants), Worthy of all praise. 6 Those who disbelieve assert that they shall not be raised. Say thou 'Yea! by my Lord, ye shall surely be raised, and then unto you shall be declared that which ye have worked; and that is for Allah easy. 7 Believe then, [O men,] in God and His Apostle, and in the light [of revelation] which We have bestowed [on you] from on high! And God is fully aware of all that you do. 8 The Day He will assemble you for the Day of Assembly - that is the Day of Deprivation. And whoever believes in Allah and does righteousness - He will remove from him his misdeeds and admit him to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment. 9 As for those who disbelieved and belied Our verses, they shall be the inhabitants of the Fire and shall live therein for ever. Evil shall be their arrival. 10
