He it is Who made the earth subservient to you. So traverse in its tracks and partake of the sustenance He has provided. To Him will you be resurrected. 15 Have ye taken security from Him Who is in the heaven that He will not cause the earth to swallow you when lo! it is convulsed? 16 Do you feel secure that the One in the heavens will not strike you with a sandstorm? You will soon know, with the coming of the torment, how serious Our warning was. 17 And indeed those before them had denied – therefore how did My rejection turn out! 18 Have they, then, never beheld the birds above them, spreading their wings and drawing them in? None but the Most Gracious upholds them: for, verily, He keeps all things in His sight. 19 Or who is this that shall be a host for you to help you, apart from the All-merciful? The unbelievers are only in delusion. 20 Or who is it that could provide for you if He withheld His provision? But they have persisted in insolence and aversion. 21 What, is he who walks prone upon his face better guided than he who walks upright on a straight path? 22 Say (unto them, O Muhammad): He it is who gave you being, and hath assigned unto you ears and eyes and hearts. Small thanks give ye! 23 Say: 'It was He who created you, dispersing you in the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered' 24 And they say: when will this promise be fulfilled, if ye say sooth? 25 Say: "As to the knowledge of the time, it is with Allah alone: I am (sent) only to warn plainly in public." 26 But when they see it approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will be distressed, and it will be said, "This is that for which you used to call." 27 Say to them: “Did you ever consider: whether Allah destroys me and those that are with me, or shows mercy to us, who can protect the unbelievers from a grievous chastisement?” 28 Say: "He is the Most Beneficent (Allah), in Him we believe, and in Him we put our trust. So you will come to know who is it that is in manifest error." 29 Say, "Have you considered: if your water was to become sunken [into the earth], then who could bring you flowing water?" 30
