He it is who has made the earth easy to live upon: go about, then, in all its regions, and partake the sustenance which He provides: but [always bear in mind that] unto Him you shall be resurrected. 15 Do you feel secure that He who is in heaven will not cause the earth to sink beneath you and then begin to quake? 16 Or have you become so unafraid that He who is in Heaven will not send a violent wind to shower stones at you? Then you will know the import of My commination! 17 And verily those before them denied, then (see) the manner of My wrath (with them)! 18 Do they not see the birds above them spreading and closing their wings? None save the Merciful sustains them. Surely, He observes all things. 19 Or which army do you have that will help you against the Most Gracious? The disbelievers are in nothing except an illusion. 20 Or who is there that can provide you with Sustenance if He were to withhold His provision? Nay, they obstinately persist in insolent impiety and flight (from the Truth). 21 Then is one who walks fallen on his face better guided or one who walks erect on a straight path? 22 Say (unto them, O Muhammad): He it is who gave you being, and hath assigned unto you ears and eyes and hearts. Small thanks give ye! 23 Say: "It is He Who has created you from the earth, and to Him shall you be gathered (in the Hereafter)." 24 And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?" 25 Say, "The knowledge is only with Allah, and I am only a clear warner." 26 At length, when they see it close at hand, grieved will be the faces of the Unbelievers, and it will be said (to them): "This is (the promise fulfilled), which ye were calling for!" 27 Say: Have you considered if Allah should destroy me and those with me-- rather He will have mercy on us; yet who will protect the unbelievers from a painful punishment? 28 Say: "He is (Allah) Most Gracious: We have believed in Him, and on Him have we put our trust: So, soon will ye know which (of us) it is that is in manifest error." 29 Say, "Have you considered: if your water was to become sunken [into the earth], then who could bring you flowing water?" 30
