Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah)
52 verses, revealed in Mecca after Kingship (Al-Mulk) before The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ The Indubitable! 1 and what is the Resurrection Verifier? 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the reality is! 3 The Thamud and 'Ad denied the consequential calamity. 4 The Thamuds were destroyed by a violent blast of sound. 5 and as for the 'Ad - they were destroyed by a storm wind furiously raging, 6 He made it rage against them seven nights and eight days in succession: so that thou couldst see the (whole) people lying prostrate in its (path), as they had been roots of hollow palm-trees tumbled down! 7 Can you see any of their survivors? 8 Pharaoh and those before him and the people of the overturned habitations all engaged in the same great sin. 9 They therefore disobeyed the Noble Messengers of their Lord so He seized them with an intense seizure. 10 But We bore you away in the Ark, when the waters rose high, 11 That We might make it unto you an admonition, and that it might be retained by the retaining ears. 12 When a single blast is blown on the trumpet, 13 And the earth is moved, and its mountains, and they are crushed to powder at one stroke,- 14 On that day, the inevitable event will take place 15 when the sky will be rent asunder, the grip holding it together having loosened on that Day, 16 And the angels will be on its sides, and eight will, that Day, bear the Throne of thy Lord above them. 17 That will be the Day when you shall be brought forth (before Allah) and no secret of yours shall remain hidden. 18 So as for he who is given his record in his right hand, he will say, "Here, read my record! 19 Indeed, I knew that I should come to my reckoning' 20 so he will live in a state of Bliss 21 in an exalted garden 22 The Fruits whereof (will hang in bunches) low and near. 23 “Eat and drink with pleasure the reward of what you sent ahead, in the past days.” 24 But as for him who is given his record in his left hand, he will say: Oh, would that I had not been given my book 25 “And had never come to know my account!” 26 Would that it (my death) had ended it all! 27 My wealth hath not availed me, 28 "My power and arguments (to defend myself) have gone from me!" 29 (The stern command will say): "Seize ye him, and bind ye him, 30 Then cast him into the burning fire, 31 then in a chain of seventy cubits' length insert him! 32 Verily he was wont not to believe in Allah, the Mighty. 33 Nor did he encourage the feeding of the poor. 34 Therefore he has not here today a true friend, 35 and the only food he has is filth 36 Which none but the wrongdoers eat. 37

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
