Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 Their account falls only upon My Lord, if you were but aware. 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 and drowned the others. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
