So, I call to witness what you see 38 And by oath of those you do not see. 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 not the speech of a poet. Little do you believe! 41 Nor is this the speech of a soothsayer. Little do you reflect! 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would certainly have seized him by the right hand, 45 and then severed his life vein; 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 And most surely it is a reminder for those who guard (against evil). 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 Surely it is a sorrow to the unbelievers; 50 And verily it is the truth of assured certainty. 51 Therefore-glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 52
God the Almighty always says the truth.
