Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But nay! I swear by all that ye see 38 and all that you do not see, 39 because the Quran is certainly the word of a reverent messenger. 40 And it is not the speech of a poet. Little it is that ye believe 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And had he fabricated just one matter upon Us – 44 We would have caught hold of him by his right hand 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 And not one of you could have held Us off from him. 47 Surely it is a Reminder to the godfearing; 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers. 50 yet it is a certain truth. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
