But nay! I swear by all that ye see 38 and all that you do not see, 39 because the Quran is certainly the word of a reverent messenger. 40 And it is not the speech of a poet. Little it is that ye believe 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And had he fabricated just one matter upon Us 44 We would have caught hold of him by his right hand 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 And not one of you could have held Us off from him. 47 Surely it is a Reminder to the godfearing; 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers. 50 yet it is a certain truth. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah). Sent down in Mecca after Kingship (Al-Mulk) before The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
