Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But nay! I swear by all that ye see 38 And by oath of those you do not see. 39 Most surely, it is the Word brought by an honored Apostle, 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 Nor is it the speech of a soothsayer; how little do you ponder! 42 A sending down from the Lord of all Being. 43 Had Muhammad invented some words against Us. 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand 45 And then severed his life-vein. 46 And not one of you would have withheld us from punishing him. 47 The Quran is certainly a reminder for the pious ones. 48 We certainly know that some among you do deny it. 49 Surely it is a sorrow to the unbelievers; 50 And indeed, it is the truth of certainty. 51 Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 52
