Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

But nay, I swear by all that you can see 38 And that which you do not see. 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 And it is not the speech of a poet; how little do you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive. 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 And had he fabricated just one matter upon Us – 44 We would have seized him by the right hand, 45 then We would surely have cut his life-vein 46 And not one of you could have held Us off from him. 47 And most surely it is a reminder for those who guard (against evil). 48 And lo! We know that some among you will deny (it). 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 So glorify the name of your Lord Most Great. 52

God the Almighty always says the truth.
