WHAT, THEN, is amiss with such as are bent on denying the truth, that they run about confusedly to and fro before thee, 36 from the right and from the left, in crowds? 37 What, is every one of them eager to be admitted to the Garden of Bliss? 38 By no means! For We have created them out of the (base matter) they know! 39 No! I swear by the Lord of the Easts and Wests, surely We are able 40 to replace them with [people] better than they are; for there is nothing to prevent Us [from doing what We will]. 41 Therefore leave them alone to go on with the false discourses and to sport until they come face to face with that day of theirs with which they are threatened; 42 The Day when they will come out of the graves quickly as racing to a goal, 43 Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. That is the Day which they had been promised. 44
