What ails the unbelievers, running with outstretched necks 36 From the right and from the left, in crowds? 37 Does every man of them desire that he should be made to enter the garden of bliss? 38 Certainly not! They know quite well out of what We created them. 39 But nay! I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We are certainly able 40 To replace them by those better than them; and none can escape from Us. 41 so leave them to indulge in vain idle talk and amuse themselves, until they face the Day which they have been promised, 42 the Day when they rush out of their graves as if racing towards a signpost, 43 with downcast eyes, with ignominy overwhelming them: that Day which they were promised again and again 44
