But what is the matter with those who deny the truth, that they come hastening towards you 36 in crowds, both on the right and on the left? 37 Coveteth every man of them, that he shall enter the Garden of Delight? 38 By no means! For We have created them out of the (base matter) they know! 39 So I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We are certainly able 40 To bring instead (others) better than them, and We shall not be overcome. 41 So leave them to engage in vain talk and to amuse themselves until they come face to face with the Day which they are promised, 42 the Day when they rush out of their graves as if racing towards a signpost, 43 Eyes lowered, shame attending. That is the day they have been promised! 44
