But they did not listen to me," Noah said, "and followed him whose wealth and children only added to his ruin. 21 They contrived a plot of great magnitude. 22 And who have said: ye shall not leave your gods; nor shall ye leave Wadd nor Suwa', nor Yaghuth, nor Ya'uq nor Nasr. 23 And they misled many. So do not give the evil-doers increase but in error. 24 They were drowned and sent to Hell for their misdeeds; they found no one to help them against God. 25 And Nuh said: my Lord! leave not upon the earth of the infidels one inhabitant. 26 If you leave them, they will lead Your creatures astray, and beget but iniquitous and ungrateful offspring. 27 My Lord! forgive me and my parents and him who entereth my house as a believer, and believing men and believing women, and increase not the wrong-doers in aught save ruin! 28
