Nooh 2 of 2

Noah said, "Lord, they have disobeyed me and followed those whose wealth and children will only bring about destruction for them. 21 and who have devised a most awesome blasphemy [against Thee,] 22 and have said to each other, 'Do not give-up your idols. Do not renounce Wadd, Suwa`, Yaghuth, Ya`uq and Nasr (names of certain idols). 23 "They have already misled many; and grant Thou no increase to the wrong-doers but in straying (from their mark)." 24 They were drowned and sent to Hell for their misdeeds; they found no one to help them against God. 25 Noah said: "O Lord, do not leave a single habitation of unbelievers on the earth. 26 "If You leave them, they will mislead Your slaves, and they will beget none but wicked disbelievers." 27 My Lord! forgive me and my parents and him who entereth my house as a believer, and believing men and believing women, and increase not the wrong-doers in aught save ruin! 28

True are the words of God the Almighty.
