28 verses, revealed in Mecca after A 'araaf (Al-A 'araaf) before Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Say, [O Muhammad], "It has been revealed to me that a group of the jinn listened and said, 'Indeed, we have heard an amazing Qur'an. 1 Which guideth unto righteousness, so we believe in it and we ascribe no partner unto our Lord. 2 And He - exalted be the majesty of our Lord! hath taken neither a spouse nor a son. 3 And [now we know] that the foolish among us have been saying outrageous things about God. 4 We had supposed that men and jinn would never utter a lie against God. 5 And there were men from mankind who sought refuge in men from the jinn, so they [only] increased them in burden. 6 'And they thought as you thought, that Allah will not send any Messenger (to mankind or jinns). 7 "We went near the heavens but found it to be full of strong guards and shooting flames. 8 We sat in observatories to listen; but any one who listened found a shooting star in wait for him. 9 'And we understand not whether ill is intended to those on earth, or whether their Lord (really) intends to guide them to right conduct. 10 And some of us are the righteous, and some of us are otherwise; we are sects differing. 11 We know that we cannot frustrate Allah in the earth, nor can we frustrate Him by flight. 12 And that when we heard the guidance, we believed in it; so whoever believes in his Lord, he should neither fear loss nor being overtaken (by disgrace): 13 Some of us have come to submission, and some of us are iniquitous.'" Those who have submitted have taken the right course; 14 And as for those who are unjust, they are firewood for hell. 15 [KNOW,] THEN, that if they [who have heard Our call] keep firmly to the [right] path, We shall certainly shower them with blessings abundant, 16 so as to test them by this means: for he who shall turn away from the remembrance of his Sustainer, him will He cause to undergo suffering most grievous. 17 The mosques are for God's worship -- so do not invoke anyone else along with God -- 18 And that when the Servant of Allah stood up supplicating Him, they almost became about him a compacted mass." 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
