Say, [O Muhammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone." 20 Say: I do not control for you evil or good. 21 Say: "No one can save me from God, nor can I find a place of refuge apart from Him, 22 Mine is but the publishing from Allah and His messages; and whosoever disobeyeth Allah and His apostle, his portion verily is the Hell-Fire as abiders therein for evermore. 23 [The disbelievers continue] until, when they see that which they are promised, then they will know who is weaker in helpers and less in number. 24 Say: I do not know whether that with which you are threatened be nigh or whether my Lord will appoint for it a term: 25 He [alone] knows that which is beyond the reach of a created being's perception, and to none does He disclose aught of the mysteries of His Own unfathomable knowledge, 26 save only to such a Messenger as He is well-pleased with; then He despatches before him and behind him watchers, 27 so that He may know that they have delivered the messages of their Lord. He encompasses in His knowledge their surroundings and keeps a count of all things.” 28
