You shall not attain righteousness until you spend of what you love. Whatever you spend is known to Allah. 92 ۞ All food was lawful to the Children of Israel except what Israel forbade himself before the Torah had been sent down. Say: 'Bring the Torah and recite it, if you are truthful' 93 So henceforth whoever fabricates lies against Allah – it is they who are the unjust. 94 Say: "God has veritably spoken the truth. So now follow the way of Abraham the upright, who was not of idolaters." 95 Lo! the first Sanctuary appointed for mankind was that at Becca, a blessed place, a guidance to the peoples; 96 Therein are signs manifest, the station of Ibrahim. And whosoever entereth it shall be secure. And incumbent on mankind is pilgrimage to the House for that good-will of Allah: on him who is able to find a way thereunto. And whosoever disbelieveth, then verily Allah is Independent of the worlds. 97 SAY: "O followers of earlier revelation! Why do you refuse to acknowledge the truth of God's messages, when God is witness to all that you do?" 98 Say: O followers of the Book! why do you hinder him who believes from the way of Allah? You seek (to make) it crooked, while you are witness, and Allah is not heedless of what you do. 99 O People who Believe! If you obey some of People given the Book(s), they will definitely turn you into disbelievers after your having accepted faith. 100 How can you disbelieve when the verses of Allah are recited to you and His Messenger is among you! He who holds fast to Allah shall be guided to the Straight Path. 101
