Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
Nay, by the Moon 32 And the night when it departs, 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 This is but one of the mighty (portents), 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 whether one steps forward to embrace the faith or one turns away from it. 37 Every soul is held in pledge against its own deeds, 38 Except those on the right side. 39 In gardens they will ask one another 40 Of evil-doers: 41 What has brought you into hell? 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 “And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly.” 45 "And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 The intercession of the intercessors shall then be of no avail to them. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 No! They do not fear the Hereafter -- 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 So whoever wills may heed advice from it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
