Lo! those who ward off (evil) are among gardens and watersprings. 45 'Enter you them, in peace and security!' 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 "No sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave it." 48 ۞ Declare thou unto My bondmen: verily I! I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. 49 and that My chastisement is the painful chastisement. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham. 51 When they entered unto him, and said: Salaman (peace)! [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Indeed! We are afraid of you." 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 Abraham asked, "Are you giving me the glad news of a son in my old age? What reason can you give for such glad news?" 54 They said: "The good tiding we give you is of truth. Do not, therefore, be of those who despair." 55 He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? 56 He added: "And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?" 57 They said: We have been sent unto a guilty folk, 58 excepting the household of Lot. We shall deliver all of them, 59 But not his wife; we have decreed that she will be of those staying behind. 60
