Nay, and by the moon, 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 A warning to mankind, 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 Save the fellows of the right. 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 concerning the sinners, 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They will answer: We were not of those who prayed 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 “And used to deny the Day of Justice.” 46 till the certainty (death) overtook us' 47 Then will no intercession of (any) intercessors profit them. 48 Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition?- 49 like frightened donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 Nay; this is an Exhortation. 54 So, whoever wills may benefit from it. 55 And they will not remember, except that God wills; He is worthy to be feared, -- worthy to forgive. 56
