Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ I swear by the Day of Resurrection. 1 and nay, I swear by the self-reproaching soul! 2 Does man think that We will not assemble his bones? 3 Yea indeed, We are able to make whole his very finger-tips! 4 None the less man chooses to deny what lies ahead of him, 5 asking, 'When shall be the Day of Resurrection?' 6 But [on that Day,] when the eyesight is by fear confounded, 7 And the moon is buried in darkness. 8 And the sun and the moon are joined, 9 On that day man will cry: Whither to flee! 10 No indeed; not a refuge! 11 Unto your Lord (Alone) will be the place of rest that Day. 12 Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back. 13 Nay! Man will be a witness against himself [as his body parts (skin, hands, legs, etc.) will speak about his deeds]. 14 Even if he presents his excuses. 15 (Muhammad), do not move your tongue too quickly to recite the Quran. 16 Ours it is to gather it, and to recite it. 17 Therefore when We have recited it, follow its recitation. 18 Again on Us (devolves) the explaining of it. 19 Truly, you love immediate gain 20 And neglect the Hereafter. 21 Upon that day faces shall be radiant, 22 gazing towards their Lord. 23 And that day will other faces be despondent, 24 Imagining that there will befall them a waiste-breaking calomity. 25 Yea, when (the soul) reaches to the collar-bone (in its exit), 26 And it is said: Who will be a magician? 27 the while he [himself] knows that this is the parting, 28 And one shin will curl up with the other shin. 29 upon that day unto thy Lord shall be the driving. 30

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
