The Human (Al-Insan)
31 verses, revealed in Medina after The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman) before Divorce (Al-Talaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
There was certainly a time when there was no mention of the human being. 1 Verily We created Man from a drop of mingled sperm, in order to try him: So We gave him (the gifts), of Hearing and Sight. 2 Surely We have shown him the way: he may be thankful or unthankful. 3 Verily We! We have gotten ready for the infidels chains and collars and a Blaze. 4 Lo! the righteous shall drink of a cup whereof the mixture is of Kafur, 5 A Fountain where the Devotees of Allah do drink, making it flow in unstinted abundance. 6 They perform (their) vows, and they fear a Day whose evil flies far and wide. 7 And feed the needy for the love of Him, and the orphans and the captives, 8 (Saying): "We feed you seeking Allah's Countenance only. We wish for no reward, nor thanks from you. 9 We fear the dismal day calamitous from our Lord." 10 Therefore, God will ward off from them the woes of that Day, and make them find brightness and joy, 11 And reward them for their perseverence Paradise and silken robes, 12 In that [garden] they will on couches recline, and will know therein neither [burning] sun nor cold severe, 13 Near them shall be its shades with its clusters hung gently down, 14 Goblets of silver are brought round for them, and beakers (as) of glass 15 Crystal-clear, made of silver: they will determine the measure thereof (according to their wishes). 16 And they will be given to drink a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of ginger 17 (Of) a fountain therein which is named Salsabil. 18 ۞ And round about them shall go youths never altering in age; when you see them you will think them to be scattered pearls. 19 When you see them, you see bliss, and a great Kingdom. 20 Upon them shall be garments of fine green silk and of brocades. And adorned they shall be with bracelets of silver: and their Lord shall give them drink a beverage pure. 21 [And it will be said], "Indeed, this is for you a reward, and your effort has been appreciated." 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
