Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 and then cast (Allah's) remembrance (in people's hearts), 5 As justification or warning, 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 For what Day are these signs postponed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 for an appointed term? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 The living and the dead, 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 37 'This is the Day of Decision; We have joined you with the ancients; 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 40
