O believers, fear God as He should be feared, and do not die but submitting (to Him). 102 Hold on firmly together to the rope of God, and be not divided among yourselves, and remember the favours God bestowed on you when you were one another's foe and He reconciled your hearts, and you turned into brethren through His grace. You had stood on the edge of a pit of fire and He saved you from it, thus revealing to you His clear signs that you may find the right way perchance. 103 Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong: They are the ones to attain felicity. 104 And be ye not as those who separated and disputed after the clear proofs had come unto them. For such there is an awful doom, 105 On the Day when some faces will be (lit up with) white, and some faces will be (in the gloom of) black: To those whose faces will be black, (will be said): "Did ye reject Faith after accepting it? Taste then the penalty for rejecting Faith." 106 And for those whose faces will become white, they will be in Allah's Mercy (Paradise), therein they shall dwell forever. 107 These are the signs of God We recite to thee in truth, and God desires not any injustice to living beings. 108 To Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, and to Allah are all matters referred for decision. 109
