The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those [angels] who extract with violence 1 and those that blow gently, 2 And by those who glide along (on errands of mercy), 3 and yet overtake [one another] with swift overtaking: 4 and thus they fulfil the [Creator's] behest! 5 Upon the day when the first blast shivers 6 What must happen afterwards shall follow it. 7 hearts will undergo terrible trembling, 8 Eyes be lowered in submission. 9 They say, "What? shall we be brought back to life, 10 after we have become bones and dust?" 11 They said: That then would be a return occasioning loss. 12 [But,] then, that [Last Hour] will be [upon them of a sudden, as if it were] but a single accusing cry 13 So they will immediately be in an open plain. 14 Has there come to you the story of Musa (Moses)? 15 His Lord called out to him by the sacred valley of Tuwa: 16 "Go to the Pharaoh who has become refractory, 17 And say to him, "Would you like to reform yourself? 18 And I will guide you to your Lord so that you should fear. 19 So he showed him the great sign, 20 But (the Pharaoh) disavowed and disobeyed. 21 Then he turned his back, striving hard (against Allah). 22 So he gathered the people, and proclaimed. 23 And he said: I am your Lord, most high. 24 And thereupon God took him to task, [and made him] a warning example in the life to come as well as in this world. 25 Lo! herein is indeed a lesson for him who feareth. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
