What, are you stronger in constitution or the heaven He built? 27 He raised the height thereof and ordered it; 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 On that day man will recall all what he strove for. 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 For, unto him who shall have transgressed the bounds of what is right, 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 Their abode will be the Garden. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 But how are you to know? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46
