[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 And He made dark its night and brought out its light. 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 And from it produced its water and its pasture. 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 upon the day when man shall remember what he has striven, 35 And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,- 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 and preferred the present life, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. 40 Verily, Paradise will be his abode. 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 Unto thy Lord belongeth (knowledge of) the term thereof. 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 On the day that they see it, it will be as though they had not tarried but the latter part of a day or the early part of it. 46
