[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;- 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 on that Day man will [clearly] remember all that he has ever wrought; 35 and Hell is there for all to see, 36 Then he who had been rebellious 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 What concern do you have regarding its explanation? (You are not bound to tell them) 43 Unto thy Lord is the Knowledge of the limit fixed therefor. 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
