Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 And He made dark its night, and brought forth its sunshine. 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 33 On the day when the great calamity comes, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 You have no knowledge to say anything about it, 43 This matter is in the hands of your Lord. 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46
