Are you more difficult to create, or is the heaven that He constructed? 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;- 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 The day when man remembers all that he had done, 35 And Hell-fire shall be made apparent in full view for (every) one who sees, 36 Then he who had been rebellious 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 Unto thy Lord is the Knowledge of the limit fixed therefor. 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
