Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;- 32 [all this] as a means of sustenance for you and your animals? 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They ask you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) about the Hour, - when will be its appointed time? 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 To your Lord is its finality. 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
