He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ (The Prophet (Peace be upon him)) frowned and turned away, 1 Because there came to him the blind man (interrupting). 2 What made you think that he will not grow in virtue, 3 Or be admonished, so that the admonition might have profited him? 4 As for him who thinks himself self-sufficient, 5 you eagerly attended to him -- 6 though you will not be questioned even if he never purifies himself. 7 but as for him who came unto thee full of eagerness 8 And is also fearful (of God), 9 Of him you are neglectful and divert your attention to another, 10 NAY, VERILY, these [messages] are but a reminder: 11 So whoever wishes may remember it. 12 (It is) in Records held (greatly) in honour (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 13 Exalted (in dignity), purified, 14 borne by the hands of scribes, 15 noble, pious. 16 Accursed is man. How ungrateful is he! 17 From what substance did He create him? 18 From Nutfah (male and female semen drops) He created him, and then set him in due proportion; 19 Then He makes the Path easy for him; 20 He will then send him to death and have him laid in the grave. 21 then, when He wills, He raises him. 22 Nay, but (man) hath not done what He commanded him. 23 So let man just consider his food: 24 For that We pour forth water in abundance, 25 Then We broke open the earth, splitting [it with sprouts], 26 to yield therein corn, 27 And grapes and clover plants (i.e. green fodder for the cattle), 28 and the olive, and the palm, 29 and dense-tree'd gardens, 30 And fruits and grass, 31 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 32 At length, when there comes the Deafening Noise,- 33 On that day man will run away from his brother. 34 Mother and father, 35 And his wife and his sons; 36 Each man will have enough cares that day. 37 (Many) faces on that day shall be bright, 38 laughing and joyful, 39 And (many) faces on that day, on them shall be dust, 40 o'erspread with darkness -- 41 Those! they are the infidels, the ungodly. 42
Almighty God's Truth.

Practice memorizing the Quran (Hifz) with different levels from beginner to expert. Exercise pages hide some words depending on the level, also done in beautiful colors.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
