The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
WHEN THE SUN is folded up, 1 when the stars shall be thrown down, 2 when the mountains shall be set moving, 3 And when the she-camels big with young shall be abandoned, 4 And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together, 5 And when the seas are set afire. 6 And when the souls shall be joined with their bodies; 7 And when the girl buried alive shall be asked: 8 For what sin she was killed? 9 the records of deeds are made public, 10 When the world on High is unveiled; 11 And when Hellfire is set ablaze 12 And when the Garden shall be brought nigh, 13 Then every soul shall know that which it hath presented. 14 I swear by the receding stars, 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 And by the night as it departs; 17 and the morn as it breathes. 18 that the Quran is the word of the honorable angelic, mighty Messenger 19 of power, given a rank by the Owner of the Throne 20 With authority there, (and) faithful to his trust. 21 Your companion is not one possessed: 22 He certainly saw him (Gabriel) high up on the horizon in his original form 23 And he is of the unseen not a tenacious concealer. 24 And it (the Quran) is not the word of the outcast Shaitan (Satan). 25 Where then will you go? 26 That is but an advice to the entire creation! 27 to every one of you who wishes to tread the straight path. 28 And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds. 29
