The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
When the sun is covered, 1 and when the stars lose their light, 2 And when the mountains shall be made to pass away, 3 when the pregnant camels shall be neglected, 4 and when all beasts are gathered together, 5 When the oceans boil over with a swell; 6 And when souls are united, 7 and when the female infant buried alive is asked 8 for what crime she had been slain, 9 And when the pages are laid open, 10 And when the heaven shall be stripped off and taken away from its place; 11 And when hell is further enflamed. 12 And when Paradise is brought near, 13 Every soul will then come know what it has brought. 14 So, I call the receding stars to witness, 15 that hide, 16 by the night swarming, 17 And the breath of morning 18 Most surely it is the Word of an honored messenger, 19 Owner of strength, of established dignity with the Lord of the Throne. 20 obeyed, and honest. 21 Your Companion is not mad, 22 in truth he saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon, 23 he is not grudging of the Unseen. 24 Nor is it the word of an evil spirit accursed. 25 So where are you going? 26 This is nothing but a Reminder to the worlds, 27 For whoever wills among you to take a right course. 28 But you cannot will it unless God, the Sustainer of all the worlds, wills [to show you that way]. 29
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
