Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 Yet you deny the Last Judgement. 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 noble scribes, 11 and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 And never therefrom will they be absent. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
