Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 and when the stars are scattered; 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 noble scribes, 11 They know all that you do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 And will not be absent thence. 16 What could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
