Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 in whatever form He pleased? 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you. 10 noble, writers 11 They know all that you do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 And verily, the Fujjar (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell), 14 Roasted they shall be therein on the Day of Requital. 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 What could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
