Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder, 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 When the graves are overturned, 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 Who created thee, then moulded thee, then proportioned thee? 7 and set you in whatever form He pleased? 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 Generous and recording, 11 who know of all that you do. 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Again, what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
