The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
WOE UNTO THOSE who give short measure: 1 Those who when they take the measure from others, take it in full! 2 But when they measure out to others or weigh out for them, they are deficient. 3 Do not these think that they shall be raised again 4 on a fateful Day. 5 The day all mankind will stand before the Lord of all the worlds? 6 Nay! most surely the record of the wicked is in the Sijjin. 7 And what can make you know what is sijjeen? 8 It is a comprehensively written Book (of records). 9 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 10 Those who deny the Day of Justice. 11 And none can deny it except every transgressor beyond bounds, (in disbelief, oppression and disobedience of Allah, the sinner!) 12 And when Our revelations are rehearsed unto him, he saith: fables of the ancients! 13 Nay, but their hearts are corroded by all [the evil] that they were wont to do! 14 No indeed, on that Day they shall be veiled from their Lord. 15 then they shall roast in Hell. 16 Then, it will be said to them: "This is what you used to deny!" 17 Nay! Verily, the Record (writing of the deeds) of Al-Abrar (the pious who fear Allah and avoid evil), is (preserved) in 'Illiyyun. 18 And what will explain to thee what 'Illiyun is? 19 It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed 20 Witnessed by those who are honoured. 21 Verily the virtuous shall be in Delight, 22 On thrones, looking (at all things). 23 Thou wilt recognize in their faces the brightness of delight. 24 as they are given to drink of a wine sealed 25 The seal thereof will be Musk: And for this let those aspire, who have aspirations: 26 for it is composed of all that is most exalting 27 A fountain from which only they who are honoured drink. 28 The sinners laughed at the believers 29 When passing by them, they would wink at one another 30 And when they returned to their own folk, they returned jesting; 31 On seeing the believers, they would say, "These people have gone astray". 32 But they had not been sent as keepers over them! 33 But on the Day [of Judgment,] they who had attained to faith will [be able to] laugh at the [erstwhile] deniers of the truth: 34 Regarding them from their cushioned seats. 35 Will not the disbelievers then be duly recompensed for their laughing at the believers? 36
Almighty God's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
