The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
WOE UNTO THOSE who give short measure: 1 who, when people measure for them, take full measure, 2 But when they have to give by measure or weight to men, give less than due. 3 Do they not think that they will be resurrected 4 For a mighty day, 5 The day when (all) mankind stand before the Lord of the Worlds? 6 No! Indeed, the record of the wicked is in sijjeen. 7 and what shall teach thee what is Sijjin? 8 A book inscribed. 9 Woe on that day to the rejecters, 10 Those who deny the Day of Justice. 11 No one rejects it except the sinful transgressors 12 And when Our revelations are rehearsed unto him, he saith: fables of the ancients! 13 Nay, but that which they have earned is rust upon their hearts. 14 Nay! most surely they shall on that day be debarred from their Lord. 15 Then they shall roast in Hell, 16 whereafter they will be told: “This is what you used to give the lie to.” 17 No indeed; the book of the pious is in Illiyun; 18 and what shall teach thee what is Illiyun? 19 A written record, 20 Those who are drawn near (to Allah) shall witness it. 21 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 22 Reclining on couches, looking on. 23 and in their faces you shall know the radiance of bliss. 24 They will be given pure wine out of sealed containers 25 its seal is musk, for this let the competitors compete; 26 and its mixture is Tasneem, 27 The spring from which drink the ones close to Allah. 28 The sinners had been laughing at the believers. 29 And when the believers used to pass by, they used to gesture at each other with their eyes. 30 And when they returned to their people, they would return jesting. 31 and when they saw the believers, they said: “Lo! These are the erring ones”; 32 But they had not been sent as keepers over them! 33 On the Day of Judgment, the believers will laugh at the disbelievers 34 On high couches, gazing. 35 The infidels have indeed been rewarded for that which they had been doing. 36
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
