The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Woe to those who give short measure, 1 Those who, when they take by measure from mankind, exact the full, 2 but who, when they measure or weigh for others, give less than their due. 3 Do they not realize that they will be resurrected 4 for a great Day, 5 The day when (all) mankind stand before the Lord of the Worlds? 6 No! Indeed, the record of the wicked is in sijjeen. 7 And what could make thee conceive what that that mode inescapable will be? 8 A book inscribed. 9 Woe, then, to those that give the lie, 10 Those that deny the Day of Judgment. 11 None belies it except every guilty sinner. 12 And when Our revelations are rehearsed unto him, he saith: fables of the ancients! 13 No. In fact what they have been doing has rusted their hearts. 14 No indeed, on that Day they shall be veiled from their Lord. 15 Further, they will enter the Fire of Hell. 16 And it will be said (unto them): This is that which ye used to deny. 17 However, the records of the deeds of the virtuous ones will certainly be in Illiyin. 18 And what do you know what the Illiyoon are! 19 It is a Book inscribed, 20 To which bear witness those Nearest (to Allah). 21 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 22 reclining on couches, reviewing (the bounties given to them). 23 On their faces you will see the glow of beatitude. 24 They shall be given to drink of a wine that is sealed, 25 The last of it is musk. So for this let the competitors compete. 26 and its mixture is Tasneem, 27 a spring at which those drawn close to God will drink. 28 The sinners laughed at the believers 29 when they passed by them they winked, 30 And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting; 31 And when they saw them, they would say, "Indeed, those are truly lost." 32 Yet they were not sent to be their guardians. 33 This day it is those who believe who have the laugh of disbelievers, 34 upon couches gazing. 35 Did not the disbelievers get repaid for what they used to do? 36

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
