The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER the sky full of great constellations, 1 And by the Day promised, 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 the people of the pit were destroyed 4 the fire abounding in fuel, 5 when they were seated around it 6 And were themselves the witnesses of what they did to the believers. 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 Him, Whose is the dominion of heavens and the earth. And Allah is over everything a Witness. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and believing women, and then do not repent, will surely suffer the punishment of Hell, and the torment of burning. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 The grip of your Lord is severe indeed! 12 it is He who begins and repeats [His creation], 13 And He only is the Oft Forgiving, the Beloved of His bondmen. 14 Lord of the Throne, the All-glorious, 15 He does what He intends (or wills). 16 Hast thou received the story of the hosts, 17 of Pharaoh, and of [the tribe of] Thamud? 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 And Allah, all unseen, surroundeth them. 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
