The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the sky containing great stars 1 and by the promised Day, 2 by the witness and the witnessed, 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 the fire abounding in fuel, 5 When they sat by it, 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 They took revenge on them only because they believed in the All-mighty, the Al-laudable, 8 Whose kingdom spreads over the heavens and the earth. God is witness over everything. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and believing women, and then do not repent, will surely suffer the punishment of Hell, and the torment of burning. 10 [But,] verily, they who attain to faith and do righteous deeds shall [in the life to come] have gardens through which running waters flow - that triumph most great! 11 The vengeance of God is terribly severe. 12 It is He who creates all things and causes them to return. 13 And He is the Forgiving, and the Loving. 14 – the Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Has there reached you the story of the soldiers - 17 Of Pharaoh and (the tribe of) Thamud? 18 The unbelievers are indeed engaged in denying it, calling it a lie, 19 Whereas Allah is, from behind them, Encompassing. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 that exists in a well-guarded tablet. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
