The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the sky with its constellations, 1 And by the Day promised, 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 (Self-)destroyed were the owners of the ditch 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 and were witnessing what they did to the believers. 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 Whose kingdom spreads over the heavens and the earth. God is witness over everything. 9 Verily those who affected the believing men and the believing women, and then repented not, theirs shall be the torment of Hell, and theirs shall be the torment of burning. 10 Verily those who believed and worked righteous works, theirs shall be Gardens whereunder the rivers flow; that is the supreme achievement. 11 Verily, (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the Grip (Punishment) of your Lord is severe. 12 It is He who originates and repeats. 13 He is the All-forgiving, the Most Loving One, 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Have you not heard the story of the hosts 17 of Pharaoh, and of [the tribe of] Thamud? 18 Yet those who deny the truth persist in denial. 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Koran, 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
