The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heaven adorned with big stars. 1 And the promised day, 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 THEY DESTROY [but] themselves, they who would ready a pit 4 Of fire fuel-fed, 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 And they witnessed (all) that they were doing against the Believers. 7 And what did they dislike from the Muslims, except that the Muslims accepted faith in Allah the Most Honourable, the Most Praiseworthy? 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Those who persecute the believers, men and women, and then have not repented, there awaits them the chastisement of Gehenna, and there awaits them the chastisement of the burning. 10 [But,] verily, they who attain to faith and do righteous deeds shall [in the life to come] have gardens through which running waters flow - that triumph most great! 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 Verily He! He it is who beginneth and repeateth it. 13 and He is the Ever Forgiving, the Most Loving 14 Honorable Owner of the Throne, 15 He does what He intends (or wills). 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 Of Pharaoh and the Thamud? 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
