The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER the sky full of great constellations, 1 And by the Promised Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection); 2 and by the witness (Muhammad) and that which is witnessed (the Day of Judgment), 3 Cursed were the people of the ditch (the story of the Boy and the King). 4 Of fire fuel-fed, 5 while they themselves sat around it 6 And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims! 7 And they persecuted them for naught save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praiseworthy 8 Whose kingdom spreads over the heavens and the earth. God is witness over everything. 9 Surely for those who persecute believers, men and women, and do not repent afterwards, is the punishment of Hell, and the punishment of burning. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 Indeed, the seizing of your Lord is severe. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Lord of the Throne, the Glorious, 15 Doer of whatsoever He intendeth. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 The unbelievers are indeed engaged in denying it, calling it a lie, 19 And Allah is after them, has them surrounded. 20 Indeed, this is a Glorious Koran, 21 written on a preserved Tablet. 22
